    April was Financial Literacy Month.  Prospect's 5th graders were engaged in a financial literacy project.
    Ava sold lemonade, cupcakes and brownies. She was setup inside Moore Brothers Beef.
    She is learning how to earn money as part of a financial literacy project through one of her classes with Mrs. Garcie Locklear. 
    Ava sold Ghirardelli brownies, fresh strawberry lemonade, and cupcakes— at Moore Brothers Beef. 
    All baked goodies SOLD OUT! Thanks to all who came out. She is so excited to see the fruit of her labor  
    Ava's project is outstanding.  She plans to save her money ($156) for a vacation this summer.
