Miss Shaleea Dunmore

  • Shaleéa Dunmore, affectionately known as Miss D, was born in Hahira, GA. Her father served as a proud solider in the United States Army, which allowed Shaleéa to live in several amazing states and one foreign country. During her primary years, Shaleea was forced to move once a year (because of her father's occupation), but this did not stop her pursuit for academic excellence. By the age of 8, Shaleéa was reading & comprehending 6th grade material, and as a result, was given the option to move up to the next grade. Throughout her academic career, Shaleéa would continue to excel in the classroom, graduating in the Top 5% of her high school class, with a GPA above 4.0. She has earned accolades such as Who's Who Among American High School Students, Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, Principal Leadership award, National Honor Society, Citizenship, First-Team Academic All Conference, Scholar-Athlete awards, and the FLW Woman of the Year award.

She served her high school student body as an officer for Spanish Club, Varsity Club, National Honor Society, and soloist for the school's Women's Choir.  She was named the Executive Officer for her Junior ROTC Battalion, making her second in the Chain of Command. She competed in varsity tennis and basketball, earning Defensive Player of the Year, as a senior. Despite her busy schedule, Shaleéa competed in pageants, where she would earn several titles and eventually become Miss Pulaski County, where she served as a volunteer and youth advocate for her community. As a result of her eloquence as a public speaker, passion for people, and abilities as a scholar, leader, and athlete, Shaleéa earned both academic and athletic scholarships to attend schools around the country.

She is quirky, comical, & creative, and brings vivacious energy to her classroom.
