• To be eligible to substitute teach with the Public Schools of Robeson County, you must:
    1.  Complete an effective teacher training or substitute teaching course and provide documentation (i.e. certificate) that shows that you successfully completed the course.
    2.  Complete a substitute teacher application online.
    3,  Submit a copy of your high school diploma.
    4.  Complete the pre-employment screening process.

    Effective Teacher Training

    This is your only portal for becoming a substitute teacher with PSRC!

    Beginning June 1, 2019 all new substitutes and teaching assistants at Public Schools of Robeson County are required to take this class through Robeson Community College. This class prepares individuals to prepare and present effective lesson plans; demonstrate student improvement of time on task; classroom management and time management skills. Class size is limited.
