Section 504 is a policy that provides accommodations to students with "unique" medical needs. These are individuals with disabilities, that do not qualify for the Exceptional Children's Program. The most common includes Special Dietary Needs - Food Allergies. Other possible qualifying events may include severe ADHD, Asthma, bee allergies, or medically fragile. Medical Documentation is required to qualify for a 504 Plan.
