Welcome to Littlefield Health and Physical Education, and another year as a HORNET!
I attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, receiving my Bachelor's degree in Exercise Sports Science and my Master degree in Health and Physical Education.
I began my teaching career in 2006 at Union Chapel Elementary School where I worked for 4 years as the Health and Physical Education teacher. This is where I grasped a great foundation and even more passion for teaching students about their Mental, Social and Physical well being. In 2010 I continued my career at Rex-Rennert Elementary as Health and Physical Education teacher. My love for health and physical education only blossomed and I became more eager to carry out my degree and love for teaching.
In 2014, I was more than excited to be given the opportunity to become part of the Littlefield family. I can honestly say that this has been an awesome journey and I only hope to continue career as a Hornet!!
Now, I am not only a teacher but I find myself to be more of a FRIEND, MOTHER, FATHER, SISTER and DOCTOR to so many of my students. As with these several "HATS" that many teachers wear my favorite of all is being called THEIR COACH! I am actively involved with students academically as well as on and off the playing field. I am currently assigned as Head Coach for Girls Basketball and Softball and assisting in Volleyball. I am very passionate about teaching and coaching and my dreams are to continue to be a Role Model teacher/coach for all STUDENTS and ATHLETES!!!
I am CPR and First Aid certified and will drop everything for the safety of your child(ren).
