Students regularly have homework assigned through Google Classroom and NewsELA.com. They use their school email to log into either account. The assignments have instructions posted on what they need to do.
In NewsELA.com, they go to an assigned article, read the article, include a minimum of ten annotations, and complete a QUIZ for each article assigned.
In Google Classroom the assignments will vary, but they always include instructions on what to do. They need to always make sure and label assignment on any paper or computer-submitted assignment so we know what it is that is being turned in. (Include first and last name, class period, date of assignment, title of assignment and page numbers if applicable.)
