Congratulations to Mr. Russell Scott, he has been named the 2020-21 Teacher of the Year for PSRC Early College.
Mr. Scott is married to his lovely wife and educator Liz. Together they have two beautiful daughters, Emma and Alexa.
Mr. Scott received his undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science from UNCP in 2006, Masters of Art in Teaching from UNCP in 2009 and Masters of School Administration from UNCP in 2015.
Mr. Scott has been an educator with PSRC for 15 years. He is a co-advisor for the RobCoBots FIRST Robotics team, a physical ed teacher and testing coordinator for PSRC Early College.
Mr. Scott says he loves being an Early College teacher and watching the students move forward and succeed in their education.
