• Dear Students, Faculty and Staff and Family Members,

The Public Schools of Robeson County are working closely with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and the Robeson County Health Department. All departments throughout our district have taken measures to enhance our sanitation best practices in response to the spread of COVID-19. PSRC understands and respects your concerns about COVID-19. However, it is important to remember that there are no confirmed or non-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Robeson County at this time. Due to this, there are currently no plans to close schools.

Safety is the district’s top priority, therefore, as a state of emergency has been declared for North Carolina, the following precautions for PSRC daily operations are in effect until further notice:

    • All in state, out of state, and international field trips are canceled.
    • All in state, out of state, and international staff conferences are canceled.
    • In accordance with the NCHSAA, all PSRC spring athletic events are postponed until further notice.
    • All PSRC Central Office staff are limiting visits to schools within the district.
    • Out of abundance of caution, public access to schools within the district will be limited, unless it is an emergency.
    • There will be no volunteers allowed at schools within the district.
    • There will be no outside events or community use of PSRC facilities at this time
    • Use of the training room at the PSRC Central Office has been canceled.
    • All upcoming during school and after school banquets, programs, and events will be canceled.
    • Primetime Child Care and Driver’s Education will continue to operate.
