Welcome to the PBIS site here at Union Chapel, home of the Tigers. We are pleased to share with you the PBIS Tiger family framework we have implemented at our school. We aim to recognize the positive behaviors when it comes to being Responsible, Organized, Attentive, and Respectful displayed by our Union Chapel Tigers.

    What is PBIS?

PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention & Support. It is "a framework or approach comprised of intervention practices and organizational systems for establishing the social culture, learning and teaching environment, and individual behavior supports needed to achieve academic and social success for all students".

Here at Union Chapel we strive to reward our students frequently through a variety of reward systems that we have developed.

ROAR Chart- Used in the gym where Resource Personnel give classes tallies for behavior and the most tallies every nine weeks gets a party.

Tiger Paws- Students earn paws to spend every two weeks from the Catalog.

Tigers Den- Students can purchase items every other Friday if they have at least 5 Tiger Paws.

Teacher Incentives- Individual teachers reward thier classes in various other ways.
