Hooray! Your child has made it to “BIG SCHOOL!” Welcome to Kindergarten! We have an exciting year planned at Oxendine Elementary!
The new school year is finally here and we are happy to be sharing it with you and your child. There is an exciting year awaiting, designed to promote and enhance your child’s growth and development. The first year of school is always exciting as we become familiar with friends and establish new routines. Kindergarten is the perfect time to begin good school habits. We will teach your child organization and study skills as well as the National Common Core and Essential Standards for Kindergarten.
We hope that together we can help your child have a successful Kindergarten experience!
Communication is key in our classrooms! Please, always feel free to email your child's teacher at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com or call (910) 843-4243 if you have any questions or concerns. We will also communicate by using your child’s nightly homework report, phone calls, remind notifications and conferences throughout the year.
