Welcome to 5th grade Language Arts! This year we will focus on fiction and nonfiction genres to prepare students for the End of Grade Reading Test. We will also read class novels throughout the year to model fluency and promote a love of reading.

Tests on comprehension and vocabulary will be given every Friday. Tests are created from Schoolnet to prepare students for the EOG test. A/R reading will also enhance comprehension skills. Library times are every Tuesday.

If you need to contact me send me an email at stephanie.fort@robeson.k12.nc.us, or you can come to the school from 8:30-9:30 for a parent conference.  I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
