It is with pleasure that I welcome you as a member of the Fairmont High School family. We pledge to you a commitment to excellence through a high quality curriculum presented by highly qualified teachers and a safe environment conducive to each student's total development. 

In order for our family to grow harmoniously together, we ask that each student commit himself or herself to being hard working and well-focused, and that he/she practice good citizenship.

Our expectation is that all students will be college and career ready and that every student graduate. This can only be achieved by cooperation, assistance, attendance and persistent pursuit of goals.

We encourage each student to heighten his/her school pride, morale, spirit and enthusiasm. Together we can make this year the best year ever.
