Get ready to make this summer one filled with reading, learning, and fun. Our LJHS Summer Reading Challenge has officially begun, and we are challenging our entire school community to help us reach an amazing goal of 15,360 reading minutes this summer!
How to Participate
Students and staff can log their reading minutes in Beanstack using their Clever account. Every minute counts toward our school-wide goal, so whether you’re reading novels, graphic novels, magazines, biographies, or listening to audiobooks, be sure to track your progress.
Make It a Family Affair
Reading is even more fun together! Students can also log their parents’ or family members’ reading minutes to help boost our total and create a family reading tradition this summer.
Earn a Prize
Students and staff who complete the challenge and earn the Super Summer Reader badge will receive a special prize at the end of the summer challenge.

📄 All male and female students were provided with permission slips to bring home.
Permission slips must be signed and returned by Monday, March 30th in order for students to participate.
