HISTORY
HISTORY: The Robeson County Career Center at Hilly Branch was established in 1978 for the purpose of offering tenth, eleventh and twelfth grade students the opportunity to acquire basic trade and industrial skills. These skills enable completers to go to work with a specialized skill after high school or place them in a favorable position to continue their post-secondary education.
CURRICULUM: The Career Center curriculum includes Trade and Industrial Courses offered to the five area high schools for ninth through twelfth graders. The courses are as follows:

* There are state and local articulation agreements in place for these courses. Local articulation agreements are still being worked on for the other courses. Articulation agreements are agreements between community and/or technical colleges and high schools. High school students can earn college credits for completing two levels with a final grade of B or higher AND a 90% attainment or higher on PBM on stated course.
