My name is Sally Mercer and this is my husband, Jon. We have been married for 26 years!

We have 3 daughters, 1 dog, and 4 cats!

I have been teaching since 2004. I started my career teaching 3rd grade for 5 years and 2nd grade for 1 year. After that I became a Media Specialist, also know as a librarian. 

My Educational Achievements:

* Robeson Community College - Degree in Cosmetology

* The University of North Carolina at Pembroke - Bachelor's Degree in

Elementary Education

* East Carolina University - Master's in Library Science

* Rowland Norment Teacher of the Year 2009-2010

Fun Facts:

* I went to school at Rowland Norment, Kindergarten - 4th grade!

* I enjoy crafts, traveling, fishing, sitting on the

beach listening to the ocean, and deer hunting.

* After high school I first went to college for Cosmetology.

* I love my baby boy cat, Oliver. I have his picture on my desk!

* My husband's daughter got married on 8-18-18.

* Our oldest daughter is in college.

* Our youngest daughter is in 12th grade.

* We have one granddaughter.

* We love going to the beach.

* My favorite colors are blue and hot pink.

* My favorite food is home cooking!
