GENERAL DUTIES: To prepare food utilizing a recipe, help during inventory, clean work area and equipment, store food properly, exhibit health and safety habits, portion food servings correctly, help manager determine needs of the cafeteria, and any other duties assigned by the manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A high school diploma

Food service experience is preferred.

Evidence of ability and skills to provide good nutrition as a part of the total education program.

 A Food Handling Certificate is required (within 90 days after employment).

GENERAL DUTIES: To manage food production and service, purchasing, storage and inventory of food and supplies, equipment and facility management, personnel management and supervision, record keeping, nutrition education, sanitation and safety, professional development, food reports, and other duties appropriate for a cafeteria manager.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

A high school diploma.

Minimum of two years of experience in food service.

Certification as a child nutrition manager through the American School Food Service Association is desirable.

HACCP training is required.
