- Locklear, Tammy
I have been a school nurse with Public Schools of Robeson County since Jan. 2008. I am currently a nationally certified school nurse. I am serving 2 middle schools this year, Townsend Middle and Pembroke Middle. My schedule for Pembroke Middle this year is Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. My schedule for Townsend is Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A copy of my monthly schedule is given to the school secretary and posted @ my office door.
Just to give you some information re: the scope of my job, I do more than just health room visits with students. I track/monitor students with chronic illness, check in medications and do quarterly med. audits, monitor immunization status on students, do vision/hearing screens, participate in 504 mtgs, and do case management. These are just some of my duties. Please feel free to contact me concerning any health issues.
Thanks for your cooperation and support!

May-June: Greetings Pembroke Middle Staff. I have been in the process of sending home information with 6th graders regarding getting the Meningococcal vaccination for the upcoming 7th grade year. It is a state requirement. So, for 7th grade homeroom teachers, I'm giving you a heads up to help me be prepared the first 30 days of the upcoming school year.
Flyers will be sent home with 6th graders as a last reminder to get this vaccination over the summer.
I will be checking all 7th grade shot records the first 30 days of school and I will be working with all 7th grade teachers in collecting these shot records.
Please follow up with school nurse if questions/concerns.
Thanks to everyone @ Pembroke Middle for all that you do!
