The school day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.  Announcements are made between 8:00 a.m.- 8:05 a.m.  Students arriving after 8:05 a.m. will be tardy.  Parents of tardy child(ren) are asked to park in a visitor parking space and escort their child(ren) to the front office to sign-in their child and receive a tardy slip.  If a student comes to school late, he/she MUST present a note signed by the parent and explaining the reason for being tardy.

Bus riders must follow all bus rules and procedures. Early bus riders arrive at approximately 7:20 am and are monitored by assigned staff in the cafeteria until 7:40 am.  Regular bus routes arrive between 7:40-7:50 am.  Grab-N-Go breakfast is served daily from 7:40-8:00 a.m.  Students obtain breakfast in the hallway and consume it inside the classroom.

Buses depart at approximately 3:00 p.m.  Students will NOT be allowed to change buses on a temporary, or one-day basis.  Requests for changes in bus drop-off points (different AM and PM stops due to parental work schedule) must be made IN ADVANCE IN WRITING to the principal/assistant principal and approved by the PSRC Transportation Department.

If you are planning for your child to be a car rider at the end of the school day, you may write a note for the teacher for that day only, or arrive at the front office prior to 2:40 pm in order for the secretary to notify the teacher.  However, your child will be released that day at 3:00 pm, unless it is an emergency.  Making your child a car rider by calling the school is not permissible.

Please drop your child off between 7:40-8:00 am at the front of the school in the “car-rider” line.  For the safety of your child(ren), there is no supervision before 7:40 am; therefore, if you arrive early, your child(ren) should remain inside the vehicle until 7:40 am or attend Primetime.  Grab-N-Go breakfast is served daily from 7:40-8:00 a.m.  Students obtain breakfast in the hallway and consume it inside of the classroom.

Parents are not allowed to accompany their child to the classroom except Pre-K parents who receive a daily hall pass from office before escorting their child. Kindergarten students may walk with their parent to class until a designated time and then walk independently thereafter.

Please pick up your child between 3:00-3:10pm. If you arrive prior to 3:00pm, please wait in the “car-rider” lane.  For the safety of our students, please do not bypass areas blocked by hazard cones.  If you plan to walk to school entrance, please park in a parking space in the paved parking lot closest to the road.  However, if your child is a Pre-K or Kindergarten student, please park in the lot behind the fence and walk to the designated pick up area.  Please make verbal communication with your child’s teacher prior to walking away with your child (ren).

We realize that some parents have early work schedules and must bring their child(ren) to school before 7:40 am.  Primetime Before School Care will be available from 6:30-7:40 a.m. for a weekly fee of $13.00 for one (1) student, $18.00 for two (2) students, and $21.00 for three (3) or more students in the same family.  Students enrolled in Primetime After School Care are not charged to use Before School Care.  Please see the secretary for an application.

NOTE:  If your child arrives on campus before 7:40 a.m. you must pay a Prime Time morning care fee.  Students must have an application on file to attend Prime Time (morning and/or afternoon).  This also applies to emergency student drop-offs.
