WEATHER UPDATE: In light of the current weather conditions, we will be releasing buses at noon. Car riders will dismiss at 11:30 am. We will continue to monitor weather conditions to ensure safety of our students. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.


📢 Reminder for Parents:
Tomorrow, March 5, 2025, will be a half-day for students, and a half-day teacher workday. Please note that this schedule excludes PSRC Early College.
As always, student safety is our top priority. We will continue to monitor the weather in our area and will hold buses if necessary, ensuring buses are not released until the weather is clear.

Our book fair begins tomorrow, February 24th and will run until Friday, February 28th. Parents can come in and visit with their child from 7:30-8:15 AM. You can also create an ewallet by going to https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/deepbranchelementaryschool , to sign up. An ewallet will allow your child to shop without cash.
We will also have Reading with Parents Friday, February 28th. Please RSVP for this event. We look forward to seeing everyone this week.



Thank you to Mr. Tyris Jones and UNC-P's fraternity for coming today for our Black History program. Mr. Jones is a local storyteller who brought told our students stories using engaging interactions. . UNC-P's Kappa Alpha Si fraternity performed stepping for them also. The students and staff enjoyed our program today.

Nothing Bundt Cake Fundraiser


The Public Schools of Robeson County's Child Nutrition Department remains committed to serving breakfast and lunch to all students this week.
Our Child Nutrition Department has received multiple questions about meal services. We want parents to be assured that we will be serving meals this week.
Parents please be assured that if there are changes in services, we will communicate those changes to you directly.


Please come out and pick up a Pre-K packet for your child. They are available in the front office.



Public Schools of Robeson County schools will dismiss at 11:30 am on Friday, January 10, 2025, due to potential winter weather impacts. All afternoon and after-school activities for Friday have been canceled. Afterschool care will not be available.
