Who is eligible
All current enrollees in a North Carolina EPP that results in an initial teaching license (both degree-seeking & licensure only programs)
Current undergraduate students who intend to enroll in the EPP, but must first take and pass the Praxis
Current North Carolina teachers that hold a residency, emergency or temporary license and need to pass the Praxis, Pearson, or EdTPA in order to remain in the classroom.
Any of the above listed population who already registered for their required exams on or after 7/1/22 and would like to be reimbursed for those costs
What they get
Free access to a Study.com account to prepare for the Praxis exam of their choice
ETS voucher(s) to pay the Praxis registration fee and/or
Fee reimbursements to cover the cost of any other required North Carolina licensure exam or study materials.
Participants can choose to use ALL of the opportunities above or they can pick and choose which one they’d benefit most from. The bottom line is that they’ve got $500 of support waiting for them!
The requirements
Participants must:
Create a TeachNC account. All of the links provided in the promotional materials below will prompt them to create an account!
Select which supports they need and complete the accompanying (short) forms.
If they request a Study.com account, they will fill out a short form and will then receive a short questionnaire from Study.com with instructions on how to set up their account.
If they request reimbursement for testing fees or other supplemental study materials, they will fill out a reimbursement form.
Praxis exam vouchers will be sent to participants after they’ve submitted their request
