PARKTON — The Public Schools of Robeson County is proud to announce that Mrs. Rebecca Locklear, a dedicated third-grade teacher at Parkton Elementary School, has been selected as one of the Top 10 Finalists in the FSIoffice Teacher All-Star Program for November.
Mrs. Locklear is now eligible to receive one vote per person, per day through November 24 as she competes for the title of November Teacher All-Star. Votes can be cast through the following link: www.fsioffice.com/teacher-all-stars.
If selected as the monthly winner, she will advance to the statewide competition for FSIoffice Teacher All-Star of the Year, with each level offering valuable prizes and classroom resources to support her students.
“This is an exciting opportunity for Parkton Elementary and a well-deserved recognition for Mrs. Locklear’s commitment to her students,” said Parkton Elementary Principal Christine Trasente. “We encourage our families, staff, and community members to show their support by voting and helping us spread the word.”
Most recently, Peterson Elementary School’s Rick Dial was named the FSIoffice 2025 Teacher All-Star, receiving the grand prize which included a stunning classroom makeover.
“Our teachers give so much of themselves every day, and programs like the FSIoffice Teacher All-Star recognition shine a well-deserved spotlight on their dedication,” said PSRC Superintendent Dr. Freddie Williamson.
“Incentives like this help celebrate the incredible work happening in our classrooms and remind educators that their efforts matter—to their students, to their schools, and to our entire community,” Dr. Williamson said.
The district extends its congratulations to Mrs. Locklear on this outstanding achievement and invites the community to join in supporting her throughout the voting period, according to PSRC Chief Communications Officer Jessica Sealey.
