Parkton students in grades 3 through 8 will take the North Carolina Check In benchmark test starting Tuesday October 27th.
Students in grades 4 through 8 will take the reading check In test, grades 3 through 8 will take the Math Check In test and grades 5 and 8 will take the Science Check In. The test will be taken at home and online. Your child’s teacher will provide you with instructions on how to access the test.
Parents please allow the student to take the test by themselves as this will give the teachers a good representation of how their instruction is going and how they should adjust instruction.

Wednesday 10/21, Unity Day - Today Parkton staff members wore orange to show unity against bullying. We also displayed hearts of hope in our windows. Our Principal even got down on the ground to make a sign for our staff picture. Such a great team player! Be nice to one another and let's all be against bullying everyday!
On Tuesday 10/20, Parkton staff members were surprised with an appreciation gift! We appreciate everything our that our staff members are doing to make Virtual Learning a success. We have officially made it through the first quarter of school! THANK YOU!

1. Teachers received their class lists today and should be contacting you within the next couple of days.
2.Material pass out day information was posted today!
3. A Virtual Open House will be posted on Monday 8/17 on both the website and the Facebook page.
4. Live classes will not be taught until Monday 8/24.
We hope this answers some of the questions. We are continuing to receive information and will push it out as we get it!
