There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.
As we enjoy the long weekend, we also want to take a moment to thank all of the hardworking people who serve our school, our families, and our community each day. Your dedication and contributions make a difference, and we appreciate all that you do!
Have a safe and relaxing Labor Day weekend, Bruins!

Our first behavior incentive activity will be Friday, September 25th!
Beginning September 1st, students will work to earn their opportunity to participate by meeting school and grade-level behavior expectations.
Any student who receives ISS, OSS, a Bus Suspension, or not following grade level expectations for behavior occurring September 1–25 will not be eligible to participate.
More details about the celebration will be coming soon! Let’s make great choices, Bruins!

Our 3rd grade students will take the Beginning-of-Grade (BOG) assessment on Thursday, September 3rd. We want every Bruin to have the best opportunity to show what they know!
Families, please help us by making sure your student:
⭐ Gets a good night’s rest
⭐ Eats a good breakfast
⭐ Arrives at school on time and ready to test
Being on time is especially important! Once a testing session has started, students cannot be added to or removed from the testing session. Students also cannot be checked out until they have completed testing.

💙🩵💛 Bruins, start saving those tabs! 💛🩵💙
Parkton is excited to support NC Beta Serves by collecting aluminum can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House!
From now through January, we’re asking our Bruin families to save the tabs from soda cans and other aluminum cans and send them to school. Our Beta Club will be participating in a friendly competition while supporting a wonderful cause!
Every tab counts, so start collecting at home and help our Bruins make a difference through service!
