Public Schools of Robeson County
Dear Parents, Students, and Staff of the Public Schools of Robeson County,
On behalf of the Robeson County Board of Education, I am pleased to welcome you to the 2025–2026 academic year!
A new school year is a fresh opportunity for growth, discovery, and success. We are excited to partner with you as we continue building on our shared mission to ensure that every student is supported, empowered, and inspired to achieve their full potential.
This year, we remain committed to our unified goal: student success. We believe that when district leaders, educators, parents, and community members work together in a spirit of collaboration, we create powerful pathways for our students to thrive. We invite you to join us in making that goal a reality.
Our work is guided by the PSRC 2023–2028 Strategic Plan, “A Focus on Leadership,” which focuses on providing innovative learning environments, ensuring equitable opportunities, strengthening instructional leadership, investing in excellent professionals and building strong community engagement.
This plan is more than a framework—it’s our shared promise to create future-ready classrooms, support the whole child, and provide every student with a strong foundation for success in college, career, and life.
Our classrooms will continue to be vibrant spaces for exploration and learning, where students are encouraged to think critically, collaborate with peers and develop the skills and confidence to make a difference in the world around them. Our teachers remain committed to bringing instruction to life through purposeful planning, inclusive practices and high expectations for all.
As we begin this school year, may we move forward with confidence, compassion and collaboration. And when challenges arise, may we find comfort in the words of Isaiah 41:10 (NIV): “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
