The PSRC Migrant Education Program invites our Migrant Families to attend our first Family Night. During this meeting on Thursday, December 15, 2022 we will cover the following topics: Christmas Around the World, Migrant Education Program in Robeson County, and Community resources. NCDPI K-12 Science Standards Survey The NC Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) is collecting feedback from educators, administrators, parents, students, institutions of higher education, business/industry representatives, national organizations, and other education agencies on each draft of the revised K-12 Science Standards. The ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. Michael Baker is a 1977 Fairmont High School graduate. He has coached volleyball and basketball teams at the school and serves as the school's athletic director. He also teaches science at FHS. Please join us in honoring Coach Baker at the ceremony!

Parent Tip Build your child's powers of mental math Here's a way to help your child practice doing addition without a pencil or paper. Start by giving your student four single-digit numbers to add together. Pause after you say each number to allow your child enough time to add. When that is easy, give four double-digit numbers, also spaced out one at a time. Next, give four numbers all at once. Parent Tips! Stand near your child when giving directions If you find yourself yelling instructions repeatedly to get your child to do as you ask, the problem could be the physical distance between you. When giving directions, stop what you're doing and walk over to your child. When you get close, you can use eye contact and facial expressions to get your child's attention. Robeson Health Care Corporation will have their Mobile Unit on Rex Rennert Campus every other Friday beginning October 28, 2022. Students must have parental consent to be seen. Services are available for all students, teachers and the community. For more information please see the flyer below. This mobile unit is not affiliated with Rex Rennert Elementary School or Public Schools of Robeson County. You will have to contact RHCC Mobile Unit.
