Principal shares goals for the academic year

LUMBERTON — School is back in session for PSRC Early College High School eagles who returned to the nest for an exciting first day of school on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Principal Andrew Davis and other school staff could be seen greeting students with smiles and well wishes as they arrived.

The first day of school was a success, according to Principal Davis.

“Our scholars were eager to begin the school year, and the positive energy on campus was contagious. They are excited to take on new challenges, build new friendships and make a lasting impact on our school and community,” Davis said.

The Early College High School program is a partnership between the Public Schools of Robeson County and Robeson Community College which allows students to graduate with both a high school diploma and either an associate degree or transferable college credits.

“Our partnership with Robeson Community College is unmatched. Without their unwavering support, our Early College program could not thrive,” he said.

Davis also shared his goal for the academic year.

“This year, our goal is to provide a safe and supportive dual enrollment environment where motivated students can excel academically and socially,” Davis said.
