Hello Viking Family, We have 2 announcements: A new program is expected to provide food for nearly a million school children this summer called SUN Bucks. Families are encouraged to ensure their contact information is up to date with our school and with their local Department of Social Services if receiving nutrition or other benefits, so they do not miss out on the potential SUN Bucks benefit. If you have moved and need to update your child’s contact information, please contact our PowerSchool Data Manager, Ms. Hawkins, no later than Thursday, March, 28th. Congratulations to out to our very own Battle of the Books team! They won 3rd Place in the district competition. Battle of the Books is a competition in which the students are asked to read 20 books and answer questions from the books. In the answer, the students must state the title of the book and the author. Their advisor is Mrs. Doshie Kirkwood. We are Viking Proud!
