Hello Viking Family, our PTO will be having their World’s Finest Chocolates Fundraiser starting Monday, January 29 - February 26. Students will receive the Parent Letter today and must return it signed on Tuesday . Monies are due February 26. Also, we will be having our Pizza Hut Fundraiser this Tuesday, January 30th all day. Ms. Tina Bowen, a retired Exceptional Children teacher for thirty-one years, is the founder of Suds of Love, Inc. Ms. Bowen provided Thee Lumberton Jr High University with a new washer and dryer set to ensure our students have access to clean and fresh clothing. She believes that having clean and fresh clothing is key to a child's confidence, well-being, and self-esteem. Ms. Bowen is pictured here with Ms. Carol Floyd Nixon, LJHS Social Worker and Ms. Camille Newman, assistant principal.
