Dear Parents/Guardians, North Carolina Law requires all students entering 7th grade to receive a meningococcal vaccine and a Tdap vaccine. You will have 30 calendar days from the first day of school to provide proof of these required immunizations. Please call your healthcare provider to arrange an appointment if your child has not already received them. Remember that if proof is not presented, your child will not be allowed to attend school after the 30th calendar day as required by law. If you have any further questions please contact your school nurse.

Attention parents of male students who have paid to attend the prom. Your child received a permission slip today to inform you that he has an opportunity to ride the activity bus to RCC to receive a free, basic haircut this Wednesday morning, May 1st. Only the male students who have already paid for prom received the letter which must be filled out, signed by a parent and turned in by tomorrow, April 30th by 12 noon. There will be extra forms in the front office tomorrow for parents to come and fill out. Thank you.

Also, the deadline to purchase prom tickets has been extended to Wednesday, May 1st at 12 noon. The prom will be held Thursday, May 2nd from 6-9pm at the school for 7th and 8th graders and 6th graders who were invited. Thank you.
