Attention parents of male students who have paid to attend the prom. Your child received a permission slip today to inform you that he has an opportunity to ride the activity bus to RCC to receive a free, basic haircut this Wednesday morning, May 1st. Only the male students who have already paid for prom received the letter which must be filled out, signed by a parent and turned in by tomorrow, April 30th by 12 noon. There will be extra forms in the front office tomorrow for parents to come and fill out. Thank you.

Greetings Viking Family. Our school nurses recently met with our 6th graders about the immunizations required for all 7th graders. Students who have not already had the immunizations received a letter to take home. State Law requires all students entering 7th grade to receive a meningococcal vaccine and a Tdap vaccine. Please call your healthcare provider to arrange an appointment if your child has not already received them. Remember that if proof is not presented, your child will not be allowed to attend school after the 30th calendar day as required by law. Viking Family! We are one day away from Bullying Uncovered with Virginia Johnson of The Poe Health Center! We look forward to seeing you Thursday at 5 pm as we talk about conflict resolution, setting boundaries and recognizing bullying in the early stages. Children can attend this event.

Good evening Viking Family, This is a reminder about Check-In Tests #3 being conducted this week. Digital parent notifications and parent letters were sent out last week. Testing will begin at 8:30am and end at 10:30 Monday through Wednesday. Makeup testing will be conducted Thursday and Friday. Also, Thursday, the 18th at 5pm, a session on Bullying will conducted by The Poe Health Center. Due to the nature of the discussion, students are not encouraged to attend. Thank you.
