Our 8th grade night for winter sports will be on Monday, January 27th. Athletes will be recognized between the girls and boys game. Parents need to arrive no later than 4:45.
On Friday, January 24th, we will have our behavior incentive. K-4 will be given the opportunity to play or watch life size hungry hungry hippos. 6-8 will be given the opportunity to play or watch dodgeball with a signed permission slip. Students must meet all behavior expectations and pay the $1 entry fee in order to attend.

Bruin of the Week
Parkton Youth Association will postpone the final basketball sign ups on Saturday , January 11th due to weather. The final sign ups will now be on Saturday, January 18th from 10am-12pm. This will be the cutoff date for 5th-8th grade sign up.
Public Schools of Robeson County schools will dismiss at 11:30 am on Friday, January 10, 2025, due to potential winter weather impacts. All afternoon and after-school activities for Friday have been canceled. Afterschool care will not be available.
1/9/25 Afternoon: Due to a bus driver shortage, Bus 335 second load will be slightly delayed. If you would like to pick up your Bus 335 second load bus student, please carefully drive to the back and let Mr. Alford know. As a reminder, this is only allowed on days that we have bus issues.
Tomorrow, Friday January 10th, will be an early dismissal due to the potential wintry mix. Dismissal will begin at 11:30, please make arrangements for your students.

Due to a bus issue, Bus 310 1st load is stopped on Carolina Church Rd right after Carriage Hill. If you like to pick up your student at that location you are welcome to do so. If not, they will arrive safely home as soon as possible. The second load will be delayed.
