Once Again, we are designated as a Blue Star Museum! This means that we offer military, veterans, and their families entry free of charge from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day (May 20th-Sept. 4th).

If you are a Blue Star family, feel free to reach out at 910-671-6000, x 3381 for program times for you and your family, community group, or summer camp.

The Planetarium is open from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. M-F during the school year, and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. in July

Fine tuning visits to the planetarium: insider hints-

  1. Write down student questions on 3x5 cards, or something like that. This way, I can answer student questions anonymously for those who are reluctant otherwise.
