LUMBERTON, N.C. – The Public Schools of Robeson County (PSRC) proudly recognized its

September 2025 Impact Award recipients during the September Board of Education meeting.

The monthly award celebrates employees whose service and commitment exemplify the

district’s motto: “One Team, One Goal.”

This month’s recognition was made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of gift cards by

Mr. Austin Jacobs and Chick-fil-A and plaques by Mr. Brandon Ventura and Sign City.

Classified Employee of the Month

PSRC is proud to honor Ms. Jerri Lynn Martin, Teacher Assistant at Tanglewood Elementary

School, as the Classified Impact Award recipient for September.

Tanglewood Elementary Principal Dr. Jessica Floyd, describes Ms. Martin as a Teacher

Assistant whose “outstanding dedication and hard work” shine through daily.

“Ms. Martin demonstrates patience, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence,

stepping in wherever needed with a positive attitude and consistent reliability. From providing

small-group and one-on-one support that enhances student learning to fostering classrooms

where every child can thrive, her tireless effort and teamwork leave a lasting impact on the

school community,” Dr. Floyd said.

Certified Employee of the Month

PSRC is also proud to honor Ms. Asia Bracey, Academic Coach at East Robeson Primary

School, as the Certified Impact Award recipient for September.

East Robeson Primary Principal Mr. Chad Brewer, shared that Ms. Bracey’s positive influence is

felt by students and staff alike, shaping a stronger and more supportive school community.

“Ms. Bracey has had a transformative impact on our campus, serving as a vital support for both

teachers and students. Through targeted instructional coaching, data-driven guidance, and

personalized professional development, she has elevated teaching practices and helped close

learning gaps across grade levels. Ms. Bracey’s commitment to fostering a culture of

collaboration, continuous improvement, and high expectations has empowered educators and

increased student learning,” Mr. Brewer said.

About PSRC Impact Awards

The Impact Award is presented monthly to one classified and one certified employee within

PSRC who goes above and beyond to support students, colleagues, and their school

communities. These employees embody the district’s mission to work collaboratively in building

strong schools where all children can succeed.
