Out-of-School Digital Device Access Parent Survey The purpose of this survey is to fulfill session law "§ 115C-102.9 calling for the collection and reporting of data regarding all students access to digital devices and internet access at home. This information will be used to help target areas of need and ensure that all NC students have adequate access to devices and the internet to access learning. The “Ask a Healthcare Professional” themed PSRC District Family Night Event is scheduled to take place Jan. 19 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Southeastern Agricultural Center located at 1027 US-74 Alt, Lumberton, NC 28358. This event is made possible through a partnership with Alliance for a Healthier Generation. The PSRC Migrant Education Program invites our Migrant Families to attend our first Family Night. During this meeting on Thursday, December 15, 2022 we will cover the following topics: Christmas Around the World, Migrant Education Program in Robeson County, and Community resources. The ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. Michael Baker is a 1977 Fairmont High School graduate. Good Morning Tanglewood Family, this is your principal Mrs. Brown calling. Our student’s safety is our number one concern here at Tanglewood. I am calling to make you aware, so that you have the facts directly from me, that our team discovered a firearm on our campus today-Monday, October 4, 2021. The Lumberton Police Department is now in charge of the situation and has determined that our school environment is safe and school can continue as normal. I hope you appreciate our efforts to try to provide facts immediately to fight the negative effects of misinformation. Tanglewood does not tolerate this type of behavior and disciplinary procedures and policies mandated by the Public Schools of Robeson County and the state of North Carolina will be followed. Parents please make sure that you have a curb smart tag in your car when you are picking students up. Please make sure that the tag is facing the outside so that we can read the numbers and have your student ready to be dismissed. If you have a student who rides in a van, van riders are dismissed at the front of the school and will be released after buses are loaded.

Tanglewood parents thank you for an amazing first day. I know it was a long day for those who rode a bus but the district is aware and are working with us to ensure that the routes are more efficient so that the students are not on the bus so long. Thank you for your continued support. Tanglewood is the best.

Monday, August 23, 2021 is the first day of school for the 2021-2022 school year. Please remember all students/staff must wear a face mask inside buildings. There will be NO breakfast served on the first day so please make sure students eat breakfast before arriving to school. Breakfast will begin on Tuesday. Please be patient with us the first few days of school as we work through getting students in and out of school safely. Let's make this school year the best yet.
