We are excited to announce our Students of the Month for February. These students were chosen by their teacher to represent their class based on exhibiting outstanding behavior. Congratulations to them all! If your child received a Tiger yard sign to proudly display for the month, please send in their picture so they can be recognized online.

As always, student safety is our top priority. We will continue to monitor the weather in our area and will hold buses if necessary, ensuring buses are not released until the weather is clear.

🦅🔬 First Grade Science Fun with Birds! 🔬🦅
Mrs. Valary Jacobs' first-grade class took their learning to the next level with an exciting science challenge, tying in perfectly with their latest EL Education Curriculum unit! The students have been exploring the fascinating world of birds, focusing on how their specially designed body parts, like beaks and feathers, help them survive in nature.
In the challenge, our young scientists used tools like pliers, tweezers, and pasta servers as their "beaks" to answer some big questions:
Which beak is best at crushing seeds?
Which beak is best at scooping fish without getting too much water?
Which beak is best at digging through dirt to get to worms?
If you don't know the answers to these questions, just ask our first graders. The students had a blast experimenting and discovering how different beak shapes are adapted for various tasks in the wild!
Check out the fun learning moments below!
