The Public Schools of Robeson County invites community members, summer programs, and local groups to explore the wonders of the universe through live, free summer planetarium programs.
Hosted by Robeson Planetarium and Science Center Director Ken Brandt, these engaging presentations bring space science to life with vivid projections, fascinating facts, and interactive discussions. Programs are open to the public by reservation and are ideal for children in summer camps and family groups.
Summer 2025 Program Schedule:
August 5–6, 11:00 a.m. – Summer in Space History
August 19–20, 11:00 a.m. – Mars
August 26–27, 11:00 a.m. – Life on Other Planets?
All programs will be held at the old cafeteria on the Hargrave Campus,
100 Hargrave St., Lumberton, NC 28358. The planetarium comfortably holds up to 30 adults and children combined.
