Amanda Graham

LUMBERTON – The Public Schools of Robeson County proudly announces that Amanda Graham, the school district's Relay/Leverage Leadership Principal Coach Supervisor, has been selected as one of only 40 education leaders across North Carolina to participate in Cohort X of the Aspiring Superintendent Program hosted by the North Carolina School Superintendents’ Association (NCSSA).

Graham works collaboratively with principals across PSRC, partnering with them to sharpen their leadership skills, elevate their instructional practices and implement Relay/Leverage Leadership strategies that strengthen teaching and learning while enhancing the overall quality of education.

Participating in Cohort X of the Aspiring Superintendent Program will further equip her to expand her leadership capacity, deepen her strategic vision and enhance her ability to drive positive change across the district, she said.

"I am honored to be selected for the State Aspiring Superintendent Cohort. This opportunity will allow me to collaborate with dedicated educational leaders from across the state, deepen my understanding of effective district leadership, and continue working to ensure all students have access to an excellent education. I am excited to learn, grow and contribute to the future of public education in our state,” Graham said.

The program sessions will begin October 29–30, 2025 in Durham, providing intensive, hands-on professional development for rising district leaders. Participants will engage with nationally recognized education experts, superintendents and thought leaders to explore topics such as: The 4 Essential Roles of Leadership; Leadership Challenges for Superintendents; and Curriculum and Instruction from a Superintendent’s Perspective. Graham will also attend additional sessions as part of the program.

The program includes collaborative sessions, superintendent roundtables, and leadership development workshops aimed at preparing participants for future roles in district-level administration, including the superintendency.

“Amanda Graham’s selection reflects her dedication, leadership and commitment to the students and families of Robeson County,” said Superintendent Dr. Freddie Williamson. “Her participation will not only enhance her professional expertise but will also bring valuable strategies and insights back to our schools.”
