LUMBERTON — The Public Schools of Robeson County (PSRC) is pleased to announce the appointment of multiple new assistant principals for the 2025-2026 academic year. These appointments were approved during recent PSRC Board of Education meetings.
“Our assistant principals play a vital role in fostering positive school culture, supporting instructional excellence, and ensuring student success,” said PSRC Superintendent Dr. Freddie Williamson. “We are excited to welcome these educators into leadership positions and look forward to the impact they will have on our schools and communities.”
New Assistant Principal Appointments
Lumberton Junior High School – Bobby Evans, Jr.
Evans brings a diverse background in education with experience as a Physical Education teacher at South Robeson Middle, a Social Studies teacher at Littlefield Middle, and an ISS Coordinator at Orrum Middle.St. Pauls Middle School – Dawn Diamond
Diamond has a strong foundation in mathematics instruction and school leadership. Most recently, she taught high school mathematics at Pine Forest High School in Cumberland County Schools. She also served as an elementary mathematics teacher at MINA Charter School of Lee County..Parkton School – Kelly Renada Emanuel
Emanuel brings extensive experience as a school counselor, serving in Scotland County Schools since 2016 at Laurel Hill and Wagram Elementary Schools. In addition to her counseling expertise, she has a background in behavioral health, giving her a strong understanding of the social-emotional needs of students.
The addition of these assistant principals reflects PSRC’s continued commitment to strengthening leadership across the district and ensuring that every school has the support needed to provide high-quality learning environments for students.
