ROBESON COUNTY — The Public Schools of Robeson County (PSRC) honored its November 2025 Impact Award recipients during the November 18, 2025 meeting of the PSRC Board of Education.
The PSRC Impact Award honors employees who demonstrate exceptional service, dedication, and commitment to the district’s mission of ensuring that all students are educated, inspired, and empowered. Each month, one certified and one classified employee are selected for their contributions to a positive and productive school culture that reflects the district’s motto — “One Team, One Goal.”
The district extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Austin Jacobs and Chick-fil-A for sponsoring this month’s gift cards and to Mr. Brandon Ventura and Sign City for sponsoring the commemorative plaques presented to each honoree.
Classified Impact Award Recipient: Ms. Martha Bullard
PSRC is proud to recognize Ms. Martha Bullard, who serves as a custodian and bus driver at Fairmont High School as the November 2025 Classified Impact Award recipient.
Fairmont High School Principal Dr. Anthony Barton commended Ms. Bullard’s commitment to maintaining a welcoming, clean, and safe school environment.
“Mrs. Martha goes above and beyond in her role at Fairmont High School. Her buildings are always exceptionally clean, and every time I see her, she is hard at work — wiping, sweeping, or mopping. Anytime she’s asked to complete a task, I can always count on her to get it done, and done well,” Dr. Barton said.
“In addition to her custodial duties, she frequently steps in to drive a bus route when one of our regular drivers is unavailable, often on short notice. She does all of this with a smile on her face and kind words for everyone she meets,” Dr. Barton added.
The district celebrates Ms. Bullard for the powerful, positive impact she makes each day.
Certified Impact Award Recipient: Ms. Alita “Allie” Lumbad
PSRC also recognizes Ms. Alita Lumbad, who serves as a Math Teacher at Fairmont High School, as the November 2025 Certified Impact Award recipient. Principal Dr. Anthony Barton praised her instructional excellence and her dedication to student growth.
“Ms. Allie is truly a blessing to Fairmont High School. She has been instrumental in helping our school improve Math III proficiency by more than 30%. She takes her students’ performance personally and consistently goes above and beyond—working long hours to ensure her instruction is tailored to meet their individual needs,” Dr. Barton said.
“Her students love her and often request to be in her class. Her instruction and progress monitoring are among the best I have ever seen,” Dr. Barton added.
The district proudly celebrates Ms. Lumbad’s impact on academic achievement and school culture.
“On behalf of the Public Schools of Robeson County, I extend my sincere congratulations to Ms. Martha Bullard and Ms. Alita Lumbad. Their dedication and daily contributions make a profound difference in the lives of our students, families, and school communities,” said Jamal Campbell, PSRC Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources.
