Public Schools of Robeson County March 2026 Mental Health Minute
March is a time of renewal. As the seasons begin to shift and the days grow longer, we are reminded that growth doesn’t happen overnight, it starts with small, intentional steps. Just like a garden, our mental health requires care, patience, and the right conditions to thrive.
This month, we encourage you to plant seeds of wellness:
~ Check-in with yourself - Take a moment each day to pause and ask, “How am I really doing?”
~ Stay connected - Reach out to a colleague, friend, or loved one. A simple conversation can make a big difference.
~ Practice self-care without guilt - Rest, recharge, and give yourself permission to slow down when needed.
~ Focus on what you can control - Let go of what you cannot change and pour your energy into what you can influence.
In our schools and communities, we continue to build a continuum of supports to ensure that no one feels alone. Whether through classroom connections, counseling services, or simply a caring adult, support is always within reach.
As we move into this season of growth, remember: Even the smallest seed, when nurtured, can bloom into something beautiful. Let’s continue to take care of ourselves and each other, because mental health matters every day.
