LUMBERTON — The Public Schools of Robeson County will once again provide nutritious meals to children throughout the summer through its weekly Summer Meal Pick-Up Program beginning July 1, 2026.

The program offers weekly meal boxes containing breakfast and lunch items for eligible children ages 1-18. Families may register to receive meals at one designated pick-up location throughout the duration of the program.

Weekly meal distributions will take place in July with pick-up available from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, July 1, 2026 (adjusted due to the Independence Day holiday week)

  • Thursday, July 9, 2026

  • Thursday, July 16, 2026

  • Thursday, July 23, 2026

  • Thursday, July 30, 2026

Families may select one of the following meal distribution sites:

To participate, families must complete a separate registration form for each child by visiting robeson.k12.nc.us. Children may only be registered at one meal distribution site, and multiple site pickups are not permitted.

Parents or guardians of children with food allergies who wish to request an alternate meal option should contact Crystal Hunt at crystal.hunt@robeson.k12.nc.us.

The program helps ensure children continue to have access to healthy meals while school is out of session and supports student wellness throughout the summer months.

Families are encouraged to complete the registration form as soon as possible to ensure participation in the program.
