LUMBERTON — The Public Schools of Robeson County Board of Education approved several assistant principal appointments during its special called meeting held on June 25, 2026. The appointments were approved during the closed session portion of the meeting as part of the personnel report and will become effective in the 2026-2027 academic year.
The following assistant principal appointments were approved:
Nicholas Baffaro, Lumberton High School: Baffaro was approved as assistant principal at Lumberton High School. He currently serves as a physical education teacher at Littlefield Middle School.
Kenda Collins, Shining Stars Preschool: Collins was approved as assistant principal at Shining Stars Preschool. She currently serves as assistant principal at Deep Branch Elementary School.
Olivia Deese, Purnell Swett High School: Deese was approved as assistant principal at Purnell Swett High School. She currently serves as an academic coach at Purnell Swett High School.
Bobby Evans, St. Pauls High School: Evans was approved as assistant principal and athletic director at St. Pauls High School. He currently serves as assistant principal at Lumberton Junior High School.
Erica Quick, St. Pauls Elementary School: Quick was approved as assistant principal at St. Pauls Elementary School. She currently serves as an academic coach at Rosenwald Elementary School.
Jordan Strickland, L. Gilbert Carroll Middle School: Strickland was approved as assistant principal at L. Gilbert Carroll Middle School. He currently serves as assistant principal and athletic director at St. Pauls High School.
“These appointments reflect the district’s ongoing commitment to developing educational leaders and supporting schools with experienced administrators who are dedicated to student success,” said PSRC Superintendent Dr. Freddie Williamson.
