Classified Employee of the Month is Mrs. Norma Hunt, she has shifted her role and has done an exceptional job in assisting to get the campus areas cleaned out and cleaned up. Certified Employee of the Month is Mr. Rick Navarrete. He was quick to learn the Canvas Program, has conducted staff training, trained our parents at night, and made two instructional videos that he shared with us and other schools have used as well.

Attention rising 6th grade students. This is Rick Navarrete, the band director at OMS. I would love you have you become a part of our band program! Normally recruiting would be done face to face, but this year, if you need to get an instrument, please contact me by email at ricardo.navarrete@robeson.k12.nc.us I will also be around the 6th grade tables when you come to pick up your packets next week. I look forward to having you in our band!

On Monday, August 17 9am-3pm and Tuesday August 18th from 11am-6pm, Chromebooks and information packets will be available for pickup at OMS. There are several required forms that will need to be filled out before Chromebooks will be given. We will provide a drive thru service on campus. Please do not exit your vehicle while on campus. Please allow time for you to fill out packets. Due to our limited size of campus, please enter campus on Atkinson road, and follow the signs.

Devices and packet pickup will be on Monday, August 17th 9am-3pm, and Tuesday, August 18th 11:00am - 6pm. Virtual Open house will be Thursday, August 13th. It will be posted at 11:00am.
