The Public Schools of Robeson County's Child Nutrition Department remains committed to serving breakfast and lunch to all students this week. Rosenwald Elementary School- Media has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon this year! Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more. Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday February 3, 2025. About one week before our Read-A-Thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress. Public Schools of Robeson County schools will dismiss at 11:30 am on Friday, January 10, 2025, due to potential winter weather impacts. All afternoon and after-school activities for Friday have been canceled. Afterschool care will not be available.

Greetings, Rosenwald Elementary students families and community I pray everyone experienced a restful and joyous break over the past two weeks. Tomorrow is our big day, our first day of 2025 and we can’t wait to kick off the New Year with our students. We want to start the new year off the Little Twister way and ensure our children are getting to school on time so that they are not missing valuable instructional time. Morning announcements start at 7:50 am every morning and by then our students should be in the classroom ready to have their best day ever! Everyone enjoy the remainder of your weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone bright and early tomorrow morning. Love you all!
