Students researched important figures, created costumes, and shared what they learned by becoming “living exhibits.” It was amazing to see their creativity, confidence, and hard work on display as they taught others about their chosen historical figures.
Great job, 6th grade! 👏

Enjoy another look at the smiles and memories from this milestone celebration!

Students and staff enjoyed dressing up, participating in fun activities, and celebrating all the learning that has taken place over the first 100 days. It was a day full of smiles, creativity, and excitement!
Take a look at some of our favorite moments from this special day! 📸

Students enjoyed an engaging presentation all about the different turtles found right here in North Carolina. They learned fun facts about turtle habitats, how they survive in the wild, and how we can help protect these amazing animals.
Thank you to the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher for bringing this hands-on learning experience to our students!

Thanks to a grant made possible by the North Carolina (Robeson County) Community Foundation, our school was selected to receive a thoughtfully curated collection of 12 books written by American Indian authors, many of whom have been featured through the Book from the Nook cultural literacy program.
These books celebrate Indigenous voices, cultures, and stories while encouraging a love of reading and supporting literacy and cultural awareness among our students. We are honored to add these meaningful titles to our school community and thank our partners for investing in our readers.

⏰ Important reminders:
