This is how we roll at Union Chapel Elementary School. I hay-t you missed out on all this fall fun, but we had an ex-straw-dinary time on the hayride!
THANK YOU to our drivers, Mr. Delton and Mr. Scottie! Our students really enjoyed themselves.

There's no tricks, just treats here at Union Chapel Elementary School. These Tigers look absolutely fa-boo-lous in their Halloween costumes. We had a fang-tastic time during the costume parade! Thank you to all of the boos and ghouls that joined in.

We’re excited to remind you about the hayride and Halloween costume parade happening tomorrow, October 31st! Participation in each event is just $2.00. All students can wear costumes to school, even if they're not in the parade. Please ensure that costumes are school-age appropriate, and remember, no face masks are allowed.

Report cards for the first nine weeks of school will be going home tomorrow. Please be on the lookout for them and go over the contents of the report card with your child.

Mrs. Beth Locklear’s second grade class recently wrapped up their Module 1 lessons on “What is School and Why is School Important.” As part of this engaging unit, students created their own books titled, "The Most Important Thing About School." They collaborated in research groups to explore the challenges that students face in various countries, focusing on unique learning environments like Boat Schools, Tent Schools, and Doorstep Schools. After thoroughly researching these topics, the students edited and revised their books and then shared their work with Ms. Wanda Jones' kindergarten class, presenting their findings and insights with enthusiasm.
