We are looking forward to our FALL PICTURE DAY RETAKES on Tuesday, October 29th! If you would like for your child's picture to be retaken, or if your child was absent during the original picture day, please send a note to make the teacher aware.
Some exciting updates have been made to the Lifetouch photo program. Parents will now be ordering their child's photos online and all orders placed will be shipped directly to the mailing address provided to Lifetouch.
Instructions to do this were included on the paper picture day flyers that went home, and one is also attached below. Parents can subscribe and take advantage of the Advance Pay Credit, but they MUST subscribe to receive notifications from Lifetouch when their child's photos are ready to view and order.
If you have questions about placing your child's photo order, you may contact the Lifetouch Customer Care Team at 1-877-791-1676.

We have two fun fall events planned for Thursday, October 31st: a hayride and a Halloween costume parade. Both of these events cost $2.00 each to participate. If your child is wearing a Halloween costume to school, it must be school-age appropriate and no masks are allowed.

Although this AWESOME group will be honored later in the year, we can't let National School Bus Safety Week end without recognizing the ones who make it all possible. We appreciate our bus drivers for following all rules and regulations and for making sure our students get to school and back home safely every day.
So, THANK YOU once again to Rene Emanuel, Anessa Clark, and Lindsay Hunt (at the back from left to right) and Darlene Chavis and Gen Bullard (on the front from left to right).

Enjoy more photos from the second and third grade buddies.

Our third grade students had a wonderful and interactive experience completing Module 1 in English Language Arts class. Their reading contracts, audio books, and bookmarks were a great way for them to engage with literacy.
Mrs. Kimberly Clancy would like to thank Ms. Elizabeth and Ms. Kateland for allowing their students to come over and visit and witness all of the hard work that the students had put into completing the module.
Kudos to Mrs. Clancy's students for being great mentors to their younger peers. Such collaborations foster a strong learning community!

This is a reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow, October 25th due to a teacher workday. All students will return to school on Monday, October 28th. Enjoy your long weekend!

Beginning next week, Envy Juices will be sold in the cafeteria for $1.25 each. Please send money with your child if you are interested in them purchasing a juice.
