The North Carolina School of Science and Math is offering summer programs for students who are rising 5th-graders through 12th-graders. With specialized coursework in areas such as artificial intelligence, biomedical sciences, and engineering, students have the opportunity to engage in real-world, hands-on experiences.
Admissions are made on a rolling basis. Applications are reviewed and admissions decisions are made once per month.

This is for the parents that have students that ride bus 49, Mrs. Darlene Chavis’ bus. Bus 49 will be a second load tomorrow, January 25th, in the morning and afternoon. The students that ride this bus will be picked up and dropped off later than usual tomorrow. Please make arrangements for your child. Thank you.

Due to the possibility of severe weather on Tuesday, which will likely include strong winds and heavy rain, tutoring will not be held tomorrow, January 9th. We do not want our buses to be on the roads transporting students during such an event. Tutoring will run as usual today though. Thank you.

ELA teacher, Wesley Jacobs, thought of the idea when he learned that his student, Adrien Cummings' dad, Jamie, is currently serving in Germany and will not be able to come home for Christmas. We appreciate our students and their teachers for showing compassion during this holiday season.
