Tiger Families, we hope you will join us for this school year's first Title 1 Parent Meeting tomorrow, September 10th at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. We would love to have all families represented.

Flag football, tackle football, and cheerleading sign-ups start tomorrow. If your child is interested and eligible to participate, please read the informational flyer below.

Tiger Families, our World's Finest Chocolate fundraiser starts tomorrow and runs through October 9th.
This is a quick reminder that if you want your child to join in on the fun and sell those $3 variety packs of bars, return the permission slip that is being sent home tomorrow. We need all hands on deck to ensure this is our most successful fundraiser ever.

This week is National Arts in Education Week. During this week, the field of arts education joins together to advocate, educate, and celebrate the impact and transformative power of the arts in education.
We want to acknowledge our art teacher, Mrs. Whitney Oxendine, and our music teacher, Mrs. Angela Oxendine for inspiring our students to think creatively and be innovative learners.
As you think about your education, comment and let us know how instrumental the arts were in your academic career.

If you have not joined our school's or your teacher's Remind account, we encourage you to do so. We do not want any of our families to miss out on important information.
Remind is a communication platform that helps educators connect with students and parents. It allows teachers to send messages to students and parents via text, email, or through the Remind app.
Remind is safe because teachers never see students' or parents' phone numbers. Students and parents can use Remind with cell phones or by email.
To join the school's Remind, click https://www.remind.com/join/84hk84a or follow the directions on the image(s) below.
To join your teacher's Remind, contact the teacher for their unique code.

Tiger families, thank you once again for a wonderful first week of school. Please remember that there will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Monday, September 2nd due to Labor Day. As this day unofficially marks the end of summer, let us also take the time to recognize and celebrate the contributions of American workers. Enjoy this extra time to spend with your family and friends and we will see all students on Tuesday, September 3rd.

Tiger families, starting next week snacks will be sold in the cafeteria during lunch. Please refer to the image below for items and prices. We appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm and support as we kick off the new school year. For the remainder of this week, we kindly ask kindergarten parents who wish to walk their child inside to park at the back of the school or at the church across the street. Please avoid parking at the front of the school, as those gates remain locked until 8:00 a.m.
For parents of students in first through sixth grades, we request that you do not walk your child to their classroom. Starting next week, all students should be dropped off in the car rider line at the back of the school.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
We look forward to the first day of the 2024 - 2025 school year. The tardy bell rings daily at 7:50 a.m., so please be at school before then. Be reminded that breakfast will not be served on the first day of school. We hope this school year is successful for all of our faculty and staff as well as our students and their families.

Help spread the word!
