Good evening, Union Chapel Family! As today begins our winter vacation, let me take the opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season that is filled with joy, happiness, and peace. Use this as an opportunity to focus on the true reason for the season. Merry Christmas!

Pictured are sixth grade students who made Christmas cards to send to Army soldiers stationed in Munich, Germany during the holidays. ELA teacher, Wesley Jacobs, thought of the idea when he learned that his student, Adrien Cummings' dad, Jamie, is currently serving in Germany and will not be able to come home for Christmas. We appreciate our students and their teachers for showing compassion during this holiday season.

"The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there."
These Tigers must have gotten tired of waiting for Santa, so they put on their stockings and headed on to school!
